Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition. Drive to patients' homes or care facilities as required for home care services. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, promoting their mental well-being. Assist with basic IT tasks related to patient documentation and reporting.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A strong command of English is necessary for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation between locations.

Pay: 12.99-15.09 per hour
