Multiple locations: Richmond, Harrogate (North Yorkshire), Windsor, Maidenhead, Hampshire (South East England)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes or individuals receiving home care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those in your care. Duties

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Support individuals with their daily routines, including meal preparation and medication reminders Follow personalised care plans to ensure each person's specific needs are met Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in health status Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Support clients with light domestic tasks and companionship to promote well-being Drive or accompany clients as needed for appointments or outings (driving skills preferred) Utilise IT systems to update records and access relevant information securely

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic IT literacy for record keeping and communication purposes Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving driving or escorting clients Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals Reliable, organised, and able to follow detailed care plans effectively
