Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for our clients.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring that each client's needs are met effectively. Communicate regularly with clients and their families to provide updates on their wellbeing. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home setting is essential. Medication trained/ experience of administering medication in care home setting A strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Basic IT skills to manage documentation and use electronic health records effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
