Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care environment Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans is preferred Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and team members Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software applications Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for this role
