Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Drive to various locations as required for home care visits Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents in both care home and home care settings Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is preferred Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes A valid driving licence is advantageous for home visits Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others
