Job Description

Greta Cottage Care Home is looking to recruit 2 suitable persons for a care assistant/senior care assistant positions.

We currently have 1 openings for 15 hour contractual hours. There is the option of additional cover for holidays and sickness. The shift pattern is based on a two week rolling rota, with a weekend and a weekend off. This is for back shifts x3 per week 5pm to 10pm shifts.

We have a 2nd opening for 16 contractual hours. There is the option of additional cover for holidays and sickness. The shift pattern is based on a two week rolling rota, with a weekend on and a weekend off. This is for x2 day shifts per week 8am-5pm.

The duties and responsibilities will include;
Providing personal care to service users, including washing/dressing/bathing/grooming. Providing food and drinks to service users, completing observation checks to ensure the safety of service users, assisting with toileting requirements and completing documentation regarding care/treatment and interventions.

Applicants are required to hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ/diploma in adult health and social care and be willing to complete ongoing mandatory training. Level 3 health and social care would be an advantage. Care Experience required is minimum of one year.

Pay: 12.80-13.50 per hour
