Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a mixed nursing home setting.

Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their hygiene and overall health. Help with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for all residents.

Experience

At least 6 months previous experience in a care home or home care setting. Own transport is essential for this role due to the remote location. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need is crucial for success in this role.
