We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Support clients in accordance with personalised care plans, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment Assist with medication administration following proper procedures and documentation Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary A genuine interest in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
