We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care Support residents with medication reminders in accordance with care plans Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments as required Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Good IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with residents and team members Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation of residents or supplies Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy when supporting vulnerable individuals

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: 12.70-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
