Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals within a care home environment, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each resident's needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions. Support residents in engaging with social and recreational activities to promote well-being. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others. Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
