We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team.
Must have care home experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care to residents
- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with residents mobility and transfers
- Assisting with personal care and grooming tasks
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents condition to healthcare team
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate and empathetic towards residents
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for those we support, whether in a residential setting, nursing home, or through home care services.
