Your primary focus will be assisting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and independence. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication prompts
Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and monitor client progress
Provide companionship and emotional support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Work collaboratively with the wider care team
Skills & Requirements
Proficient in spoken and written English
Ability to understand and follow care plans
Experience in domiciliary care (preferred but not essential)
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and families
A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
