Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (NO SPONSORSHIP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will assist with daily living activities, support care plans, and foster a positive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding. Help maintain accurate care plans and documentation for each resident. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the nursing staff. Participate in recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for residents. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents and team members. Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 11 - 55 per week
