Duties

Assist patients and residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing Monitor and record vital signs and health observations accurately Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care Support with light domestic duties within care settings or clients' homes as required Drive between different locations if necessary, ensuring timely attendance at appointments or care visits

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Basic IT skills for documenting patient information electronically Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues Driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between locations or home visits Familiarity with care plans and understanding of healthcare procedures will be beneficial but can be developed on the job
