We are seeking a highly motivated, positive, dedicated and compassionate care assistants to join our team. As a care Assistant in our home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents.

This position requires excellent communication and organisational abilities, along with a genuine passion for providing a quality care experience at all times.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the implementation of care plans for our resident, ensuring that their individual needs and preferences are met

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating

- Fantastic motivational skills

- Monitor and record residents' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the nurse / manager and appropriate healthcare professionals

- Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a care assistant role in a care home is required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes

- Care Qualification such as NVQ /QCF level 2 is preferred but not essential at this stage although you will need to complete this.

- Social care Wales registration within a 6 month period.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
