Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities



Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients Help with medication administration under supervision and according to care protocols Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery Support with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Experience



Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with residents and team members Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes Strong communication skills, empathetic nature, and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents.

Digital Rota in place with access 24/7.

Shifts available month's in advance. Request holidays and report sickness on app.

Rota hours: 8am-8pm, 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm-8am.

Must be able to work 2 weekends per month on rotation.

Must be available for Christmas Day and Bank Holidays every 2 years on rotation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 33 per week
