Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to care plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals are vital for success in this position.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to provide updates on resident status and needs. Follow established care plans to deliver personalised support tailored to each individual's requirements. Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes within the healthcare setting.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare assistant role or similar position is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with home care practices and working within a care home environment is advantageous. A good command of English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Pay: 12.22-12.52 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
