We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that all patient needs are met effectively. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition, using IT systems as required. Communicate regularly with patients, their families, and other healthcare staff to provide updates on care and address any concerns. Support patients in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to drive is advantageous for those providing home care services. Familiarity with creating or following care plans is beneficial. Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is desirable. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
