We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Wakefield, WF2. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Supporting a 28 year old male who lives at home with his Mum, he suffers with Cerebral palsy, Autism and has limited vision. He requires support with personal care and medication administration. This client sometimes displays challenging behaviour so previous knowledge/ experience with this would be preferred!

For this role, we are looking for a Driver, with a full UK license that Is comfortable driving the clients mobility vehicle.

Hours: Monday - Sunday 8am-5pm (you will not have to work every weekend, but weekend availability is essential).

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:



A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge/experience with Cerebral palsy, Epilepsy and/or Challenging behaviours is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
