Job Description

CARE ASSISTANT

Assist with the administration of medication, ensuring compliance with prescribed guidelines; All aspects of personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, dental hygiene, toileting; Supporting the patients to eat and drink well. Safely using aids and personal equipment; Making beds, and changing the linen; Encourage and support patients to engage in social and physical activities, such as keeping in touch with relatives/friends; Provide companionship and mental stimulation to enhance well-being; Accompany patients to hospital appointments; Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs, medication records, and any incidents or concerns; Safely use aids and personal equipment as required; This list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to carry out additional duties.

Full time Morning/ Evening & Weekend

Care vacancies available. We have mornings and evenings available. We're looking for Care Assistants who may already have experience as a Support Worker or in Domiciliary Care or those without experience looking to become a Care Assistant as full training will be given.

Helping with personal care

Helping with mobility around the home

Overseeing medication and providing medical support

Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
