Job Description

You will be expected to attend a handover 15 mins before your shift starts to have an updated from the shift before.

You will be expected to carrying out day to day jobs around the home e.g. serving breakfast lunch and tea, doing drinks rounds, keeping the home to a high standard of cleanliness, and assisting with visitors coming in and out of the home.

You will also be expected to be doing personal care for the service users that may need some assistance. You may need to help people with getting up washed and dressed also getting washed and ready for bed. Some service users may also required your assistance in the shower or bath.

There would be training given to administer medication.

On some occasions you may be asked to escort a service user to an appointment at dentists, doctors hospitals etc.

You will have to complete all online mandatory training.

Night duties: you would be expected to assist with personal care, getting ready for bed, along with cleaning duties. Two hourly night checks and assisting with personal care getting service users up in the morning.

Pay: 12.25-12.75 per hour
