The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide
person-centred care and support
to individuals in their own homes, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.
You will play a key role in our improvement journey by:
Following care plans accurately
Maintaining high standards of record keeping
Communicating openly with managers and colleagues
Upholding CQC Fundamental Standards in daily practice
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Support with medication in line with training and company policies
Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs
Provide emotional support and companionship
Promote independence and respect individual choices
Accurately complete care records and report any concerns immediately
Follow safeguarding procedures and raise concerns appropriately
Adhere to infection prevention and control practices
Work in line with company policies, values, and CQC requirements

Essential qualities:

Previous experience in domiciliary or social care
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or willingness to work towards it
Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
