Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in care homes and clients receiving home care services. Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to enhance their quality of life. Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety protocols. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Strong IT skills for maintaining electronic records and documentation related to care plans. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when necessary. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as part of the role.
