This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of clients, and working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care plans. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as personal care, companionship Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements Monitor and record health observations accurately Maintain cleanliness of care environments in accordance with health and safety standards Support clients with medication reminders as directed by the care plan Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure high-quality care Assist in developing and implementing personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for recording health information and updating care records Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary A genuine interest in providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 48 per week
