We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in home care settings. Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as required. Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Follow care plans meticulously to ensure personalised support for each patient. Engage with patients through conversation and companionship, promoting their emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Drive patients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care setting is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with patients and team members. Basic IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated in individual tasks.
