Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Hunters Lodge Care Centre in WV8 2AT. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and care. Your contributions will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to exceptional care standards.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Document care activities accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills. Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere within the care home. Assist with recreational activities to promote social engagement.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred. Understanding of care home operations and resident needs. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are an advantage. A compassionate approach to caring for others.
