Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in our home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to follow care plans and assist with daily living activities, fostering a supportive environment for those in your care. We do not offer sponsorship .

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor and record patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, encouraging social interaction. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Skills

Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.

Pay: 12.75-13.25 per hour
