Responsibilities
Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support residents with mobility and activities of daily living
Follow personalised care plans to meet individual needs effectively
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Support the organisation of activities that promote social engagement and wellbeing
Skills
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Basic IT skills for maintaining care records and documentation
Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home care visits
Experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential
Organised with strong attention to detail in following care plans and procedures
Empathetic nature with a genuine interest in caring for others
