We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Help with medication administration and monitor health conditions as required Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in health status Assist with light domestic duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment Support clients with activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary, ensuring safe transportation

Skills

Good communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and care records Strong organisational skills to manage care plans and daily schedules efficiently Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home care or transportation of clients Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is advantageous but not essential Ability to adapt to different environments and handle sensitive situations with discretion

Pay: 24,420.00-30,061.49 per year
