Health Care Assistant
Job Description
We are a small family run residential care home (max of 24 beds) in Marston Magna, nr Yeovil and we would like a dedicated and motivated care assistant to join our small team. We are looking for someone that really wants to make a difference to the lives of our older people. You will assist our residents with personal care and assisting with all daily living tasks. You will be also be required to be involved with recording within our care planning system. We pride ourselves on carrying out the highest standards of care to promote the well being of our residents and it is important to us that you will want to do the same.
We are ideally looking for an experienced individual with at least a
NVQ/Diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care
and to share the same ethos as us. We are progressive in our approach to staff development and actively encourage and support additional learning and qualifications.We are looking at employing someone
on a part time / full time basis and this includes working alternate weekends. Our shift patterns are 8am-3pm, and 2.30pm-9.30pm, you would be expected to work a combination of both to ensure we have the correct staffing levels for our Residents.
In return we are able to provide you with an excellent rate of pay including a weekend pay enhancement, all set in a lovely, homely environment.

21-35 hours per week
12.90-13.50 per hour (with additional enhancement for hours worked on weekends). Rate is dependent on qualification and experience.
