Join Our Caring Team at Fir Villa Residential Home

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of older people? Fir Villa Residential Home, a small and welcoming family-run care home in the peaceful village of Marston Magna near Yeovil, is looking for a

dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant

to join our close-knit team.

With a maximum of 24 residents, we pride ourselves on delivering truly person-centred care in a homely and supportive environment. This is more than just a job -- it's an opportunity to be part of a team that values kindness, respect, and the highest standards of care.

What You'll Do

Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks Engage with residents to promote their wellbeing and independence Record care notes using our digital care planning system Be a vital part of a team that treats residents like family

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have at least a

Level 2 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care

Experience in care is preferred, but above all, we value a caring nature and a genuine desire to help others A team player who shares our ethos of compassion and excellence Willingness to work

up to 35 hours per week

, including

alternate weekends

Flexibility to work a mix of shifts:

8am-3pm

and

2:30pm-9:30pm

What We Offer

Excellent hourly rate: 12.90-14.20

, depending on qualifications and experience
