Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in following their personalised care plans, ensuring their specific needs are met. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Document daily activities and any changes in residents' conditions accurately in IT systems. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to interact with residents and team members effectively. Experience in a care home setting is highly desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their quality of life.
