Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a positive environment for our clients.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing companionship. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Support residents with appointments or social activities as required. Keen to take advantage of excellent opportunities to participate in training sessions and courses to develop skills, confidence, abilities and enjoy ongoing career development.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is welcome but absolutely not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently. A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering consistently excellent care to our residents. Keen to learn, to grow and develop, prepared to challenge the 'norm' and poor practice, and want to achieve more, and better. Reliability, commitment, dedication. Having a fun and cheery personality with a sense of humour is a good thing too! Be a nice person...simples.
