Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Provide companionship and emotional support to service users Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Support with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents Drive clients to appointments or activities as required (where applicable)

Skills

Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions accurately Proficient in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work effectively within a team environment Driving skills are desirable for roles involving home care or transportation of clients Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential
