Duties

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Supporting clients with daily routines in accordance with personalised care plans Monitoring and recording clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff Assisting with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals Providing companionship and emotional support to clients Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems Driving clients to appointments or activities when required (if holding a valid driving licence) Ensuring the safety and comfort of clients at all times Collaborating effectively with care teams to deliver consistent, person-centred care

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving driving responsibilities Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
