Job Description

The role of a Care Worker at Hertsmere Valley Care Services is varied and largely depends on the customer you'll be working with. Everything we do is designed to help our customers live happy, independent lives. We are looking for dedicated & caring people who wish to work in social care providing care & support services to Adults, the Elderly, and People with Disabilities in care homes.

Duties Include:

Washing and Dressing Feeding Toileting Bed Making Generally assisting with patients overall comfort Providing personal care duties Administering medication Manual handling, using equipment where required Promoting customer health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their life to the full Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends A large part of their daily lives

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or Support Worker Strong communication skills in English Proficiency in IT and documentation Ability to develop and implement care plans Experience in home care and care home settings
Please Note: Care roles are subject to an enhanced DBS na dmedication training

Job Types: Contract & Part-time

Salary: 12.61-15.00 per hour
