We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each resident's needs are met effectively. Communicate regularly with residents to provide companionship and emotional support. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Support residents in participating in social and recreational activities within the care home. Ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all residents. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and colleagues. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with residents and their families. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential community outreach activities or transport needs. A caring attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential qualities for this role.
