Responsibilities

Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Supporting individuals with daily activities in accordance with personalised care plans Monitoring and recording health conditions and reporting any concerns to senior staff Providing companionship and emotional support to service users Assisting with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems Communicating effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families Driving to and from care appointments or home visits when required

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues A caring attitude, patience, and professionalism are essential for this role
