We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support clients in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, maintaining safe driving practices
Requirements
Valid driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role
Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector
Ability to develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the organisation
