Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Care At Call in the UK. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and ensure the well-being of patients in various healthcare settings, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living tasks Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Help implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients Participate in training and development opportunities Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role is preferred Strong understanding of care home practices and patient needs Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively within a team Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes Valid driving license is a plus but not mandatory. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
