Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to residents in care homes and those receiving home care services. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well-being of individuals under our care. Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Support individuals in accordance with personalised care plans Encourage and promote independence among residents or clients Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Assist with medication administration as per training and guidelines Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when required Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and communication Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits or transportation of residents Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents and their families

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
