We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Duties

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support patients in daily activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance. Help implement care plans by monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene standards. Document patient information accurately using IT systems as required. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care delivery. Drive patients to appointments or activities when necessary, ensuring their safety during transport.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans is an advantage. Strong IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients as needed. Compassionate nature with the ability to provide emotional support to patients. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
