Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a variety of settings, including home care and care homes. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall well-being. Help implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Document patient progress and any changes in condition accurately. Drive to various locations as required for home care visits. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes is advantageous. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
