Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Wood Green Care Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal care delivery. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or well-being to senior staff. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff alike. Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with residents. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A commitment to providing high-quality person-centred care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
