Overview

We are looking for a

dedicated and empathetic female Healthcare Assistant

to provide overnight support in a

waking night capacity

. This role involves supporting a client with specific care needs in their home, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to a female client with cognitive decline, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and a commitment to delivering personalised care plan for the client.

Responsibilities

Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Implement and follow care plan tailored to the specific needs of each resident. Maintain accurate records of clients' progress and report any changes in their condition to the manager. Provide companionship and emotional support to the client, fostering a positive environment. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the home, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Utilise digital system for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a home care setting is desirable A strong command of English is required for effective communication with client and staff. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Proficiency in IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
