Responsibilities

Qualifications

Proven experience or interest in social or health care roles. Excellent communication skills in English. Valid driving license is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of responsibility. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes. Knowledge of care home or home care environments is advantageous.

Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in the Nottingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

:

NG8 - Supporting a male client who has a spinal injury & Autonomic Dysreflexia. He has sleep apnea and and requires CPAP Overnight. This client requires full management and assistance with all medications, eating and drinking and all aspects of daily living. He is a wheelchair user, so manual handling is required.

Hours: Thursdays: 1-10pm, Saturdays 7am-4pm, Sundays 7am-4pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:

A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months UK care experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
