We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals (training provided if necessary) Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Support with light domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation Facilitate transportation for appointments or outings by driving clients safely to various locations Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery

Skills

Driving licence is essential for transporting clients and supporting home care duties Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all aspects of care provision
