We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care. Duties

Assist with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and movement, ensuring their safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes or concerns Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plans Liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals and family members Support clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence Drive between different care settings or client homes as needed, ensuring timely service delivery

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for mobility between locations Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for documentation and updating care plans Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with clients and team members Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
