We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working dependable and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in care home settings. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting the well-being of our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence while adhering to care plans.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or manager.
Ensure that all areas of the care home are kept clean and tidy, adhering to infection control training
Skills
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Previous 6 months experience in a care home or home care setting within last 2 years is highly desirable.
Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required.
