Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to senior staff promptly Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly atmosphere Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational procedures

Skills

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English Ability to build rapport with residents and team members effectively Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home care visits Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
